Sedgwick County Soccer Association: Welcome

A non-profit organization, Sedgwick County Soccer Association (SCSA) was founded in June of 1991. Today, we have over 300 teams that involve over 3,500 players and just nearly 600 coaches. Each weekend, SCSA competition brings out an average of 10,000 people to our 60-acre sports complex in south Wichita. Most teams come from the Wichita area, however some travel from communities such as Hutchinson, Salina, Newton, and Derby to compete. SCSA is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Our league is supported wholey by funds from registered players and teams, with the help of local sponsors.

U11 & U12 Coaches: Interested in trying an 11v11 season?

This Fall, SCSA created a U13 Junior division after several requests from teams who wished to begin playing the 11v11 game. We think it has been a great opportunity to introduce the bigger field game and the league will offer this option again in Spring 2015.

CLICK HERE for the rules for the "U13 Junior division" which allows U11 and U12 boys and girls teams to play in an 11v11 league.  As a coach of a U11 or U12 team, you need to notify SCSA at time of Spring registration if you want to play in this division.  As rules state, a minimum of 5 teams are required to create this division.

This provides additional opportunities to explore the 11v11 game for the younger players but in no way will replace the option to play small sided games as established by US Youth Soccer and FIFA.

If you have any questions on the rules or how to register for this division, please contact Lori at the SCSA League Office at scsasoccer@sbcglobal.net
