Coach Licensing Clinics for New Coaches, August 2nd OR 3rd - REGISTER ASAP

All new coaches, assistant coaches and trainers are required to attend the SCSA Coach Clinic before the beginning of their 2nd season of coaching. Example: if your 1st season of coaching at SCSA is Fall 2013, then you must have completed the coach clinic before the start of Spring 2014.

Coach clinics are two parts: online registration and course work - plus a morning of field work

1. Online registration and on-line course work – Register with KSYSA at www.kansasyouthsoccer.com under Education - Coaches – Coaching Clinics – Coaching Courses Schedule. Locate the SCSA Southlakes clinic information and register online. It will provide a link to the on-line course which must be completed prior to attending the field work. The online portion takes less than an hour to complete.
2. All coaches are required to take the entry level, Youth Module 6-8, regardless of the age of the team they will be coaching. Additional coach licenses are optional.
3. Field work - Coach clinics are held in early August for the Fall season and mid-February for the Spring season. Clinics are held at the Southlakes fields weather permitting. Coaches can select a Saturday or Sunday to attend the clinic. Please refer to the website's Calendar of Events for scheduled clinic dates. This Fall's dates are August 2nd or August 3rd.
4. Upon completion of both portions, the State will provide a certificate of completion
