2012 Maple Football Handbook
The 2012 Maple Football Handbook is now attached as a "Handout" on this website. Just click on the "Handouts" item on the menu bar to the left and then follow the download instructions (or you can just click the link at the bottom of this article). EVERY PARENT and EVERY PLAYER should carefully read through this document. It spells out a number of Coach DeWald's philosophies, requirements and expectations for the new program now under his direction. 2012 Division News and Varsity Schedule
For the 2012 season, North Farmington has moved out of the OAA Blue Division (to the White) and Royal Oak has moved into the Blue Division (from the White). Other than that, the Blue Division lineup will remain the same as last season. The Blue Division schools therefore now include: Andover, Avondale, Berkley, Ferndale, Groves, Hazel Park, Lahser, Royal Oak and Seaholm. The Seaholm Varsity schedule is listed below. Seaholm plays each of the other 8 teams in the Division, along with one non-conference game. Seaholm will play 5 home dates, and 4 away. After a one year absence from the schedule, Country Day has been added back onto Seaholm's calendar, in week 3, to fill the non-conference slot. 8/23 Thurs. Home Ferndale 8/30 Thurs.
