It was just supposed to be a tune-up tournament for the 11U Sea Dogs to get ready for a tournament in Las Vegas in October.  But Labor Day weekend 2007, the boys had other things in mind.  Like playing good baseball, and winning games. 

After three days of intense baseball action (almost as intense as the smell from the mushroom farm across the road), the team entered the final day of the tournament with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, the second seed in their division.  They then went on to beat the top seed, the Rainiers, 4-1 to move on to the championship game.  The final game, against the veteran Bull Dogs, didn't go the Sea Dogs' way.  However, that second place trophy still looks pretty nice!
