Registration for the spring 2012 season for South Durham Little League is now open.  Some changes for our families to be aware of for this year's paperwork:

In addition to the registration form and fees, we now are asking for a signed Medical Release form, a copy of a certified birth certificate, a copy of a parent's driver's license, and a utility bill dated after February 1, 2011.  This request is to bring our league into compliance with Little League International's requirements for chartered Little Leagues.  We ask that families please check to make sure that they fall within our boundary map.  We are not allowed to register players from outside of this boundary.

Registrations and documents can be mailed to the address indicated on the registration form.  Please note the following opportunities for in person registration:

Saturday, January 21  10 AM - 2 PM  Omega Sports at the Streets at Southpoint
Sunday, January 22  2 PM - 4 PM  ITS Baseball (during the Winter Challenge bat-a-thon)

Saturday, February 11 10 AM - 2 PM  Registration/evaluations at Hillside High School
Saturday, February 18 10 AM - 2 PM Registration/evaluations at Hillside High School

 More information will be posted about evaluations towards the end of January.  It is important for players to go through evaluations.  Returning Majors players (from last Spring's Majors) do not need to evaluate unless they would like to change teams.  Fall Majors players who did not play in Majors in the Spring must evaluate. 

WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE REQUESTS TO BE PLACED ON TEAMS WITH OTHER PLAYERS. 
Families are welcome to note these on their registration form, but please understand that we will not commit to honor any request.
