2007 Jewel May signs with University of South Carolina

Georgia SD Lady Eagle and Heritage High School senior Jewel May will be taking her talents to the University of South Carolina in Columbia.


The University of South Carolina competes as a member of the SEC conference.


Jewel a state champion high jumper was select to the Rockdale Citizen’s All-Area team for basketball and track.


She plans on majoring in psychology.

Le Le LeSeur with her parents
Georgia SD Lady Eagle and Wesleyan senior Le Le LeSeur has decided to head north to continue her scholastic and basketball career. Le Le has made a verbal commitment to sign a full scholarship to play basketball at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Bucknell is located in the middle of the state and is 190 miles from Pittsburgh to the west and 190 miles from Philadelphia to the east. Bucknell is an NCAA Division I school and is a member of the Patriot League which includes schools such as Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, and Lehigh. Le Le was selected All Gwinnett County Honorable Mention by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution last season and was a major factor in Wesleyan's 11-point victory over Dade County in the 2005 AA state championship game as she came off the bench to score 15 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.
