The Georgia SD Lady Eagles Basketball Club - is “a travel team” that provides female athletes primarily residing in Metro Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding counties a chance to improve their basketball skills while enhancing social skills such as teamwork, dedication, and discipline. Playing for the Georgia SD Lady Eagles AAU team offers a level of competitiveness and complexity not seen in many other leagues and programs. AAU is the highest level of youth basketball. The 2006 season marks our 10th year. Our first three graduating classes (03, 04 & 05) yielded almost 100% of players going on to college - many with athletic scholarships! Our Mission: ·
– To take each player’s skill to the maximum level possible ·
– To provide each player with the individual and team skills necessary to become a proficient high school and possible college basketball player ·
– To assist each player in developing qualities such as leadership, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude, which will stand as a strong foundation for success
– To create an environment with positive peer pressure that promotes and honors scholastic achievement & higher education.
