Cpt. Alex Fyfe "Courage" Awards
The Suffolk County Soccer Coaches Association recently named their "Courage" Awards
after Cpt. Alex Fyfe. Alex Fyfe graduated from Rocky Point High School and the U.S.
Military Academy at West Point. While in High School Alex played three varsity season
collected All-County honors in his junior and senior years. He received All-State honors in
1995. His efforts to bring peace in Iraq through soccer equipment and supplies was a
complete success. Soccer people from Suffolk County and around the world sent soccer
supplies that Alex handed out to the children of northern Iraq. Alex presented the 2004
Cpt. Alex Fyfe "Courage" Awards to Kevin Capps (John Glenn High School) and Brett Siani
(Islip High School) at the 2004 SCSCA All-Star Banquet held at Villa Lombardi of
Holbrook. Congratulations to Kevin Capps, Brett Siani and Cpt. Alex Fyfe !
