Santa Clara Sporting Club was started over 30 years ago and has a tradition of producing top players and top teams. Many players have gone on to play for top colleges, the National team and professionally. Sporting Club is based in Santa Clara and is associated with the Santa Clara Youth Soccer League (SCYSL). SCSC 95 G Goes Undefeated and wins Chivas U.S.A. Southbay Indoor Holiday Tourney

The Santa Clara 95G Girls went 7-0 Wednesday night to capture the title of the innagural Chivas U.S.A. Holiday Indoor Tournament. The intense tournament included 8 teams all of which went head to head in a 6 hour timeframe with limited breaks and shortened halves. The girls put forth an amazing offensive outburst which lead to an average of 12 goals scored per game over the 7 games.

SCSC 95 G Take Second Place in CYSA District II Cup

In what was to be the Fall Season finale, the SCSC 95G team won their division bracket to advance to the CYSA District Cup II U 11 Class 1 final. Despite an amazing tournament, the girls fell short in the championship game, losing to MVLA Lightning by the score of 1-0 in a hard fought battle that came down to the wire. The team will now start preparation for the upcoming State Cup.

become the 2006 Clovis Challenge Cup Champions. The girls defeated the host California Odyssey's A team 5 - 0 in the
championship game.

SCSC 95G Brings Santa Cruz Breakers Cup to Santa Clara with Tournament Win !

The SCSC 95 Girl's won the Santa Cruz Breakers Cup Tournament on Sunday afternoon following an impressive 4-0 tournament record that consisted of an amazing offensive effort producing 24 goals in just 4 matches. Probably more impressive was the defensive play, as SCSC posted a shutout in each game allowing zero goals for the entire tournament! The SCSC 95 Girl's continue tournament action this weekend in the NIKE MUSTANG STAMPEDE CLASSIC.

SCSC 95G Places highest amongst all Nor Cal teams that participated in the U-11 Nike Surf Cup

The Santa Clara Sporting Club U-11 girls put their mark on the 2006 Nike Surf Cup by finishing with a winning record of 2 and 1 and finishing higher than any other Northern California team in the U-11 Girls division. Congrats to the champions, the SD Surf G11 White Club. Action continues this weekend for the SCSC95 Girls when they travel to Santa Cruz.
