U12 Wizards - 2009 MEAD Cup Champions
Congratulations to the SCSA Wizards winning the U12 boys MEAD Cup Silver Division. The team went 5-0 in the tournament outscoring their opponents 19-3 with 3 shutouts.

Girls U-14 SCSA Revolution - Spring Blast Champions

The U-14 girls SCSA Revolution won the championship at the Middletown Spring Blast with a 2-1 victory in the championship game. Way to go Revolution, great way to start the season.

Girls U-13 SCSA Cyclones - Spring Blast Champions

The U-13 Girls SCSA Cyclones started the season by winning the championship at the Middletown spring blast. The girls went 4-0 in the tournament and winning the championship game 2-1. Way to go Cyclones!

Congratulations to the U13 Fusion who won the Midwest Regional Futsal Championship held in Mason, Ohio February 15th.  Well done gentlemen!!!

U11 Girls Strike Gold Again Winning Goalrilla Classic

The U11 girls Xplosion followed up their CUSL InSeason title with another championship at the Goalrilla Classic
by winning the black division title game 3-1.

U13 STORM - 2008 Go-o-o-oalrilla Tournament Champs
The Storm finished 3-0-1 in the tournament's top division. The Storm is also currently in first place in CUSL's 1st Division with two games remaining. The tournament championship should prepare the team for the final two CUSL games.

U12 Thunder - 2008 Dog Days Gold Division CHAMPS!

SCSA U12 Thunder started out the fall 2008 season with the Dog Days Tournament. After a sluggish first game 2-2 tie, SCSA Thunder re-grouped and dominated the next three games, taking the championship in the U12 Gold division of the CSA Dog Days Tournament. SCSA Thunder out scored their opponents 25 to 5. Photo of the team aboard the player transportation golf cart awaiting the trophy presentation. SCSA Select - FUSION
The U12 Boys SCSA Premier team completed a very successful season winning both the Buckeye Premier league and CUSL's highest division as outright CHAMPIONS. The team is made up of players from Anderson, Mt Washington, Hyde Park, Indian Hill, Newtown, and Milford.

SCSA United Premier U-15 boys runner up in U16 Division of Kolping Seth Stevens Memorial Tournament
SCSA United U-15 boys were invited to play in the U-16 division of the Kolping Seth Stevens Memorial Tournament over the weekend of May 17 – 18, 2008. We opened the tournament with a 3 – 0 win over the NKSL Hurricanes. Goals were scored by Tommy Chapman, Raied Alawi and Jake Greico. The afternoon game saw United find scoring opportunities early and often. Even though the game was close early with 91 Blue scoring to make the game 2 – 1 midway in the first half, United answered immediately with Derek Coleman’s first goal of the season to go to 3 – 1 at the half. United continued to fire on all cylinders and cruised to a 6 – 1 victory. The next morning was a hard fought contest that ended in a 0 – 0 tie sending United to the finals. However, Jake Grieco was lost for the finals due to a broken wrist and several other injuries would hamper United in the finals. United was matched against Thunder United Metro Elite for the finals. They were in second place of CUSL U-16 Premier Division. The game was very physical but United continued to play hard and was only down 1 – 0 at the half. However, all the injuries started to take their toll and the boys began to wear down. Even though United lost 3 – 0 in the finals, they played an admirable weekend of soccer being runners up in a division where they were the youngest team. We are very proud to represent SCSA Select and very proud of the boys for their outstanding efforts.

The U10 Boys SCSA Premier team finished runner-up playing up in U11 age group of the Creek Classic. The team also finished second in CUSL's highest division.

SCSA Select - Gladiators

U8 SCSA Gladiators finish Runner-Up at the Creek Classic

 

The U8 Gladiators finished their first season of select with a great showing at the 2008 Creek Classic in Beavercreek.  The Gladiators finished 2-1 in pool play by beating teams from Warren County and Sycamore Arsenal  to advance to the finals against CUSA.  The boys fought a tough battle in the final game. The Gladiators finished their season on a high note and look forward to a great fall season.
