Only 3 weeks left in the 1st Half of the season.
There will be a position round the last week, Dec. 20th
USBC Sanctioning will be optional this year.
If you choose not to be sanctioned, remember,
you will not be eligible for any USBC awards
and you will not be listed in the average book.
If you intend to bowl in a tournament this season,
you will need to be USBC Sanctioned.
There is a correction regarding the sanction fees.
Originally, I said the fees were the same as last year.
That is not the case. The fees are as follows:
Men - $20.00 Women - $17.00
The Christmas party will be at the Sokol hall
at 7:00 PM Friday, December 18th.
Congratulations to Jay Barna's team for winning the
Championship Series on May 10, 2009
Jay Barna's team won the 1st game by 36 pins.
Jeff Harms' team won the 2nd game by 36 pins,
setting up a possibility of a tie in the series.
But, Jay Barna' team won the final game, squeaking
by Jeff Harms' team by 2 pins to win the Championship.
