Dear Cheer Parents,
Welcome to the Jr. Peewee Division of Smyrna-Clayton Pop Warner! We are looking forward to a great season with your child. Before our first practice, we’d like to let you know about a few things:
Ø PRACTICE will begin on August 1 with a parent meeting at 5:15pm. Please meet us at the Pop Warner field. We will meet at the Municipal Park picnic tables once the initial meeting is completed. It is our goal to complete our conditioning hours in the first 2 weeks of August. We’d like to propose practice hours of 5:30-7:30pm Monday through Friday, through August 10th . As long as we get our 20 hours in, then beginning Tuesday, August 14th , practices will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30-7:30 until school starts. At that time we will no longer meet on Wednesday’s.
Ø UNIFORMS will be distributed at a later date. Sneakers, socks, briefs, pompoms, bows and cropped bodysuits are to be purchased on your own as soon as possible. We’ve chosen items on www.omnicheer.com (see below for details). If your child has the same item from a previous year and it still fits and is in good condition, she may wear it again.

6. CHASSEE’S FLIP II CHEER SHOES ~ (item S1116) * These shoes run small- I recommend ordering one size larger.
7. White Tank to wear under uniform
**Please be sure to order immediately as we cannot control availability of these items. It is important that the girls have the proper uniform items for the first game. Pictures of items have been attached.**
Ø It is important to us that above all, the girls have FUN and enjoy their season! We want to be sure to keep the lines of communication open, and welcome any questions or suggestions you may have.
