August Practice Schedule:
8/1 – 8/3 5:30-7:30
8/6 – 8/24 5:30-7:30 (Mon – Thursday)
School Practice Schedule:
8/27 – End 6:00-8:00 (Tues, Wed, Thur)
Player Expectations:
· Knowledge = Power
o Grades come first, homework should be done before practice
· Discipline
o Prompt, practice starts at 5:30pm, be there dressed and ready by 5:15. Ready means having all gear needed for practice, shoes tied, pads buckled, etc…
o Study playbook and know where you need to be on the field.
· Respect
o When coaches speak, players are quiet.
o No back talk to coaches on or off field.
o Teammates, you are to challenge each other, help each other, and ultimately grow together without arguing or disrespect.
Parent Expectations:
· Knowledge
o Emergency contacts
o Team Mom (Heather Moyer) will inform you through email or text, times and locations.
o Inform us of any medical conditions or treatments your child may need during practices or games.
· Respect
o Respect all the athletes, coaches, and other parents.
o Any questions or comments will be directed to head coach away from the athletes, preferably before or after practice or over the phone if needed.
o If you will be present at practice, please keep your distance so not to interfere with practice, please refrain from negative shouting. I do encourage positive cheering if the athletes are doing great.
· Effort
o Volunteering your time will be greatly appreciated plus you will earn your $40 back at the end of the season.
o At all games, we will need a volunteer to monitor play count for the opposing team. For home games, we will need 3 volunteers for working the chains, plus volunteers for concessions stand.
· Responsibility
o You must submit all necessary paper work for your child including:
ü Copy of birth certificate
ü Completed physical form, DATED FROM 2012 (before 1st practice)
ü Medical Release and History Form
ü Player Contract and Parental Consent Form
ü Copy of Final Report Card for 2011-2012 School Year
