NEW WEBSITE COMING!
The ABJ Scots Football Website is changing. New Look, New Location.
The new website is available now.

Effective November 15th this website will be closing down, and the new website will be the official team location.
The new site is still under development, and we welcome ideas, and material (articles, pictures, etc.) to make it the best site possible.

Rhelda Gautreau is the clothing coordinator for the Scots football team. Attached is an order form for apparel.
There are a large number of excellent quality items available, and it is a great idea to try items on for size before placing your order. Rhelda will have samples of the items as well as various sizes to try at the school foyer on Monday night, October 1st between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., and between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Order forms must be turned in no later than October 5th and payment MUST accompany the order. Cash or cheque only and the cheques can be made out to ABJ Football.
If you have any questions regarding items on the form, Rhelda will be happy to answer them at the school, or you can call her at 464-2285.

Monday, September 24
Football season is now well underway with both the Junior and Senior teams having 2 games under their belts. The Senior Scots are off to a good start with wins in the first two outings. The Juniors are off to a tough start at 0-2 but look to improve as the season moves along. Check the link to 'Standings' for score results. And don't forget to go to the Metro League site for more on scores and statistics from throughout the league.
There is a huge amount of activity underway off the field as well..................
First off, the lights are up! A great job by everyone involved to get this project in on time and on budget. There is one small item left that the Lights Committee needs your help with:
There is still some levelling to do with excess dirt to be taken from the trench lines and moved to behind the school. Next year some of this excess material will be used to fill in any settling that occurs in the spring.
Please meet at the school for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday September 25th, and our lights coordinator Gerry Dotto will be on site to let you know what is required. You should bring a shovel, rake and some work gloves as well as a wheelbarrow if you have one. This won't take longer than 1.5 hours to complete if we get at least 6 parents out.
Note: The Junior game that evening is a 7:30pm start so there should be plenty of time for any of our junior parents to help and still get to the game.

Parents of the Junior Scots are reminded that there is a mandatory meeting on Monday Sept. 24th. The meeting is at the ABJ school cafeteria, and starts at 7:00 p.m.
Please bring along your $100.00 payment for fundraising as it is due at this meeting.

Please drop off your silent auction item for the Pub Night next Saturday at the school on Monday, September 24th. Items should be dropped off between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. at the school foyer.
The attached information sheet provides more information on the Pub Night. Come out for a fun evening with fellow ABJ Scot parents, fans, and supporters. Invite some friends and help raise some funds for a great cause - our favorite football club!
