Thank you to the parents for making this summer one of the best, and my first year as a Chapter Director wonderful! Good Luck to all players in any future games and tournaments this year and I hope to see you all next year!!

2009 SOUTH CAROLINA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION REGISTRATION APPLICATION
Announcement: There has been a change to the registration form. You may now participate if you are 18 years of age. Only if your 19th birthday does not fall between June 12th, and August 16th, and you have not entered into College.
Registration anytime between now and June 12th!!!!
*Please note this is a different date than what the registration says, but due to the fact that we start play on June 15th, we need to have the names of players so we are able to post tee times for the first tournament.*

Starts her final spring ranking fifth in career scoring average at 77.48 strokes in 95 rounds played...
Fall 2008: Averaged 79.1 strokes in 10 rounds in the fall for Coastal Carolina, ranking third on the team... Had her best outing of the fall at the CSU Fall Invitational, tying for fourth at 152... Shot her best 18 of the fall in the second round of the CSU event, shooting 2-over 74... Posted her second top-20 finish in the fall at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, tying for 20th... Had six rounds in the 70s...
2007-08: Ranked second for the Chanticleers in scoring, averaging 77.04 rounds in all 10 events and 28 rounds, earning All-Big South honors for the third year in a row… The 77.04 average ranks 10th for a single season at Coastal Carolina Had two top-10 and four top-20 placings on the year… Had her only under-par round of 2-under 70 in the LPGA International-Xavier Invitational’s second round, eventually posting a 2-over 218 to win the individual title and lead the Chanticleers to a runner-up team finish… Earned Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week honors for her play at the Xavier Invitational… Posted three other top-20 finishes, as she tied for 10th at the Big South Championship, tied for 12th and 16th at the Lady Paladin Invitational and Pinehurst Challenge, respectively… Also earned the Big South’s weekly honor after tying for 27th at the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup with a three-round 228… Posted 22 rounds in the 70s, including the season-best 70 and three 73s… Was one of two golfers with a winning percentage, going 584-250 on the year…
2006-07: Was second for Coastal in scoring with a 78.21 scoring average... Finished fifth at the PUPS Big South Conference Championship to earn All-Big South honors for the second straight season, firing a season-best 73 in the final round... Had two other top-20 placings in the spring, tying for 15th at the USF/Waterlefe Invitational and tying for 19th at the Pinehurst Challenge...Posted two top-20 finishes in the fall, including a tie for 10th at the Lady Paladin Invitational after shooting a 54-hole total of 231... Also tied for 15th at the Unlimited Potential/Myrtle Beach Classic with a six-over 225... Had one top-five, two top-10 and five top-20 finishes on the year...
2005-06: Played in all 10 events as a freshman, leading the team with a 76.66 scoring average, the sixth best single-season average in school history... Named Big South Freshman of the Year and to the All-Big South squad for her play... Had four top-10 and six top-20 finishes on the season... Came from behind at the Big South Conference Championship in the final round, shooting a school record 68 to take home medalist honors and her first collegiate victory... Also tied for fifth at the Papa John’s Collegiate for her other top-five finish of the year... Earned Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week three times, each after finishing in the top 10 of that week’s event... Her first award came after tying for eighth at the Unilmited Potential/Bay Tree Classic, which included a season-best even-par 72 in the second round... Followed it up with a tie for 10th at the Lady Paladin Invitational... Garnered the award a third time after tying for 22nd at the Pinehurst Challenge... Also had top-20 finishes in the season opening Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup, tying for 16th, and the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate, tying for 13th... Had 21 of 29 rounds in the 70s... Qualified for the 2006 U.S. Amateur Public Links, advancing into match play...
High School: Ranked fourth in the S.C. Junior Rankings her final season... Named the MVP of the Blue Jackets’ golf team her final three seasons... Also earned All-State honors her final three years and was the Class AAA State Champion her junior year... 2004 CGA Match Play Medalist... Named The Sun News “Toast of the Coast” Player of the Year as a freshman and junior, while making the overall team her sophomore season... Placed third in the state her sophomore season and was the State AA Player of the Year both her sophomore and junior years... Named Sun News Co-Player of the Year as a freshman...

CARMEN JONES, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF THE HORRY COUNTY CHAPTER
Fall 2007: Was on the course for all five fall tournaments for the Lady Chanticleers... Averaged 82.2 in 14 rounds played... Posted a 54-hole score of 234 at the LPGA International-Xavier Invitational to place 32nd, her best finish of the fall... Had her best 18-hole score in the second round at the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup, carding a 76...
High School: Was the South Carolina Independent School Association state champion in golf her freshman and sophomore seasons... Also played in the South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) Championship, winning the 2006 title, as well as the SCJGA’s 2006 All-Star Tommy Cuthburt and 2007 Hootie & the Blowfish Caddie Classic... A two-sport standout in high school as she was also an All-Region selection in basketball her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons, as well as the team’s Most Improved Player each season... Was also a member of the National Honor Society...
