WELCOME to SCCBRL
Welcome to Southern Chester County Babe Ruth League. The Southern Chester County Babe Ruth League was formed in the early 1940's and is growing each year. We offer baseball programs for children between the ages of 4-12. We offer an educational program that teaches the fundamentals of baseball and progresses into the knowledge of a competitive sport. Our league allows every child equal playing opportunities regardless of ability. Our coaches specialize in teaching children the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and most importantly having FUN! Our players are local to Coatesville, West Caln, Valley, East Fallowfield, Highland, West Sadsbury, Sadsbury, Valley, West Fallowfield, and Westwood areas. We are hopeful that you will have your baseball player pursue their baseball career with the Southern Chester County Babe Ruth League.
The start of our baseball season depends on the weather. We hope to start our Majors and Minors mid-to-late March and our T-Ball and Rookies in April. A reminder that our Majors practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings; our Minors on Wednesday and Friday evenings and they both may have some Saturday afternoon games. Our T-Ball players play “games” on Saturday mornings and our Rookies practice one evening a week with Saturday morning games. Our season will play through the month of June. Once rosters are determined your coach will contact you. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact the league at 610-857-1100 or the website.

First of all we would like to thank everyone for another great season of baseball! We appreciate you having your children play in our league and hope that you will be back again next year!
This Saturday, June 14, 2008, is our final day of baseball!
The T-ball and Rookie teams will play at their designated times and fields and immediately following each game will be a PIZZA PARTY for each team. At that time the players will then received their medallions!
The Minors had a great season this year! Parkesburg and Westwood teams get cudos from all for playing during the Saturday Heatwave! Thank you to the parents who tried to keep everyone cool!
We hope everyone will be able to watch the Minors All Star game that will be played at the Parkesburg Field at 2 p.m. The Minors PIZZA PARTY will be following this game at 4 p.m. All Minor players will receive their trophies and the Championship trophies will also be given ... Congrats Westwood!
The final game of the season on Saturday will be the Majors Championship Game at 5 p.m.! The Red Sox and Yankees will play and immediately following their game will be a PIZZA PARTY and awards!!
Again, thank you to all the parents for bringing your children out to play with us!!! We have enjoyed your children and can't wait until next season!

MONTHLY LEAGUE MEETINGS
League meetings are held monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at Pomeroy Fire Company at 7 p.m. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Pomeroy Fire Company.
