Rules

The Church Athletic Association's basketball league are conducted with rules that are used in High School. Some rules in particular we want everyone to know about are as follows:

1) Any player given a sportsmanship technical foul will have to sit out 5 minutes.

2) A second technical foul issued to a player will be ejected from current game and suspended for the next week's game

3) There is absolutely no slam dunks allowed during a game or before it during warm-ups.

4) There are two timeouts per team per half of 30 seconds.

5) During free throws, the ball must touch the rim before anyone crosses over the line to the key. Any violations will be whistled as lane violations.

6) We play 20 minute running clocks per half.

7) If game is within 10 points of each team, then the last 2 minutes the clock will stop.

8) There is no overtime.

9) Team fouls: 7th foul = 1 shot 10th foul = 2 shots
