SBRS is a Competitive fast-pitch league serving almost 500 girls from 4 to 6 years old in the Lower Fairfield County, Connecticut (Stamford, Greenwich and Darien) area. Our regular season play begins in April and ends in June. We also have All-Star and Travel Teams whose seasons start at the beginning of June and finish at the end of July. Any girl who plays in the House League is then eligible to try out for her corresponding Age Group's All-Star & Travel Team.
TENTATIVE 2008 SBRS SCHEDULE:
August 17 - All Star Picnic @ 2:00 pm
September 7 - Year End Breakfast at Italian Center
September 14 - Fall Ball Begins
October 24 - Friday Night Softball - Don't Forget A Costume to play under the lights!
Note: This schedule does not include any travel tournaments for the All Star/Travel Teams nor any State/Regional Tournaments which Stamford may or may not host.

Be courteous to the other players - when your practice or game is finished, pick up the dug-out - there are garbage cans at every diamond. Leave nothing but your footprints (and for some of you, your sunflower seed shells...)

A note from the Board:
This site is open to all visitors, but the chat room, rosters and a few other areas are for members only. Current Stamford Babe Ruth players and parents are eligible for site membership. If you have not registered as a site user, an application form appears when you visit the restricted areas. The completed form is sent to the webmaster for identification. That may take 24 hours, so do it now!
Advertising opportunities
Have you noticed the banners on the homerun fence around Troy #1 & #2? If you or your company would be interested in purchasing advertising space on the fence, let your coach know. There are also Giant Softball Placards available. These will be put up on and around the concession stand..
