Dear Souderton Braves Family & Friends, come out to support our friend and neighbor, Sandy Stayton.

For those of you that do not know the Stayton Family or Sandy Stayton, they are part of the Souderton Braves Family. Sandy Stayton was diagnosed several months ago with Breast Cancer. We are reaching out to all of you to help make one day a little easier on this family. It is not a Souderton Braves fundraiser, but we back this event 100%!

George Stayton has served as Vice President for the executive board for a few years and two of their three boys recently played football. Sandy has always been a support to our organization and now it's our turn to help!

During the October 2011 Monthly SAYFA General Association Board Meeting, a revised SAYFA Board Structure was presented, voted upon and approved.

Why did things change? Many reasons! First and Foremost to ensure we're building an organization that is strong and offers the best experience for the children and parents!

This new structure reduces the amount of Executive Board of Directors Members and shifts the majority of voting on topics that drive the organization from the Executive Board to the General Board of Directors. Each Position was reviewed and either combined with another position or removed all together if no value was being added to the organization.

Souderton Braves Present our NEW, Updated Brochure! We'd love to hear from you!!

·     The Souderton Braves is a member of the Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. youth football and cheerleading organization. The Pop Warner philosophy is that academics and athletics go hand-in-hand. We seek to develop well-rounded young people who not only learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the importance of an education.

·     This program provides the opportunity for these children to learn lifetime values such as: self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship and good sportsmanship. Along with having some fun!

·     We are a nonprofit organization run totally by dedicated volunteers. The Board of Directors and coaches that are involved give freely of their time.

·     Participants range in age from 5 to 15 Years of age

·     Expenses include Equipment, Site Maintenance, League fees, Official Fees, Competition / Bowl Game Fees

·     Annual Registration costs are kept low to make the program available to all income levels

·     Sponsorship and Fundraising are needed so that SAYFA can continue to keep the costs down.
