  SATCH History

In 2003, Gordon and Maria Morrow realized the need for homeschool sports in North Houston, and with the encouragement of several friends, started Sports Association of Texas for Christian Homeschoolers, commonly known as SATCH. The Mavericks mascot was adopted, and SATCH began its first season with 3 teams in basketball!

Since 2003, SATCH has fielded basketball, volleyball, football, baseball, and softball teams.  Annually, SATCH provides competitive amateur youth sports to approximately 150 homeschooled athletes and facilitates hundreds of events every year including games, practices, tournaments, social events, and fundraisers.

Currently, SATCH has basketball and volleyball teams.
