Some SATCH History:   In 2003, Gordon and Maria Morrow, upon realizing the need for homeschool sports in North Houston, and with the encouragement of several friends, started Sports Association of Texas for Christian Homeschoolers, commonly known as SATCH.  The Mavericks mascot was adopted, and SATCH began its first season with 3 teams in basketball!

Since 2003, SATCH has fielded 65 junior high and/or high school teams including baseball, basketball, football, softball, and volleyball teams.  Annually, SATCH provides competitive amateur youth sports to approximately 150 homeschooled athletes and facilitates over 700 annual events including games, practices, tournaments, socials, and fundraisers.
