Welcome to the home of Beachside Little League Baseball and Softball. Our goal is to promote a positive atmosphere that results in a fun and rewarding experience for all, while providing a learning environment to increase our childrens overall skills.
We are always looking for ways to improve our facilities and our little league program. Any suggestions you have as parents, managers, coaches or spectators are encouraged and greatly appreciated.
Volunteers & sponsors are key in keeping cost down and ensuring a positive experience for our players. Please help by doing your part.

2008 City Champions!
Congratulations to the Minor A D-Backs and Majors Brewers on their championship wins. Games were played Monday and Tuesday nights for the two divisions. On Monday Night the D-Backs bested the Tigers 8-7 at Olsen field, and Tuesday evening the Brewers came out ahead of the White Sox 5-1 at Hedgecock.

New Equipment Purchased with Opening Day Proceeds

We have 2 new pitching machines, and a host of other equipment just purchased with Opening Day Ceremony Proceeds.
One pitching machine is at Hedgecock and the other one will be at Crespino. The Minor B teams should be able to make great use of these as they will make for very accurate and consistent pitches. They can also be used for Batting Practice with the Minor A and Majors teams.
Also, we purchased and delivered new Nets and L-Screens to Olsen and Metz. Crespino received new nets earlier purchased by the City of IHB.

2008 Pitch Count Documents
Two new documents have been added to the Handouts section. The 2008 Little League Pitch Count Publication and the 2008 Pitch Count form. Baseball Managers for Minor-A through Juniors should download and familiarize themselves with these documents.

Opening Day Ceremonies!
Opening day ceremonies are scheduled for March 1st, 2008 at Desoto Baseball Field. Ceremonies will start at 10:00AM.
Remember, these ceremonies.... with food, rides, and games are the leagues ONLY fund raising event. It's important that we get a good turnout and that everyone plans on staying and participating.
Team and individual pictures will also be scheduled for that day.

Volunteer Umpires
The league is currently looking for volunteer umpires to officiate baseball and softball games during the 2008 season. Training is available. Adults or youths 13-16 years of age interested please contact Kendall Wilson, wilsonkendall@bellsouth.net.

An early lost in the County Tournament only seemed to motivate them even more, they would not be denied. And they weren't. Congratulations to the Mets, Seniors County Champions.
