Safety Equipment

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT


Each player shall have the following equipment by the first practice:

Shinguards
Soccer socks, or stockings as they may be called
Soccer ball with name on it--see. size below
Footwear

Shinguards, which must be covered entirely by stockings, shall be made of a suitable material (rubber, plastic, polyurethane or similar substance) and shall afford a reasonable degree of protection.

Soccer balls come in different sizes. The sizes are marked on the ball or
The box they come in and shall be used as follows:

U-06, U-08 divisions -- size 3;

U-10, U-12 divisions -- size 4;

U-14 divisions -- size 5.

Footwear.

All footwear made by well known manufacturers and designated
as soccer footwear are legal. Low cost, so called 'turf' shoes shall be checked for sharp edges on studs and shall not be permitted if deemed dangerous. (BASEBALL SHOES AND FOOTBALL CLEATS ARE UNACCEPTABLE!)
Rubber soled athletic shoes, such as cross-trainers or running shoes, are permitted, but not recommended.

ANY PERSONAL ITEM SHALL HAVE THE CHILDS FIRST AND LAST NAME ON IT. THIS INCLUDES WATER JUGS TO EQUIPMENT!
