Welcome to San Antonio's Ride Like A Girl (RLAG). Our group is dedicated to promoting fun, safe bicycling - both on the road and on the trails - for all women (and men) at all levels in beautiful San Antonio. We ride year round at various organized and non-organized rides through out The San Antonio area. San Antonio's Ride Like A Girl and San Antonio's Ridin' With The Girls are a recreational level cycling club for all levels of recreational riding!
Mission / Creed Our most important goal is assisting beginner riders. Our rides are open to riders of all levels. We strongly adhere to a 'No-Drop' policy. That means you can ride with confidence, knowing someone from our group will be riding with you! We are also involved in promoting safe bicycling in San Antonio, community involvement and cycling advocacy. We have weekly trail and road rides. Check out our Calendar or our Forum pages for more info. Our 'Get Out & Ride!' Program runs from March through July. This is a series of on-going rides that include informative clinics. Most of these rides are trail rides. There are a few road rides, as well. You will be able to learn the skills needed to ride safely, how to care for and maintain your bike, nutrition and safety information. It also gives you a chance to meet others who share your interests! We road ride during the week as well. Right now we are training for the MS 150 Bike To The Beach and the Muddy Buddy Duatholon, both coming up in October. After July, we'll be starting our Fall Trail Riding Schedule, which will be listed on the Calendar and Forum. Remember, this is your club! We welcome comments and suggestions. We have put together programs that we think you all will enjoy and find beneficial. Your feedback lets us know how successful we are at doing that, so let us hear from you!!!
