Jordyn was allowed to leave the hospital for a day pass so she could go see her team play in Alpine this past weekend.  Here is a shot of her with her teammates:

WHAT YOUR REGISTRATION FEES PAY FOR UNDER SGASA*

 

 

  • Uniform Shirts and Visors
    •
  • Lights (YES!!! The City bills us for the lights on Fields 2, 3 and 4)
    •
  • Umpire Fees
    •
  • Field Maintenance and Equipment repairs. Purchase of equipment such as but not limited to: balls, chalk, batting cage equipment, Snack Bar supplies and maintenance, etc.
    •
  • ASA registration, league insurance, school fees (for use of fields), background checks for volunteers, communications, website, etc.
    •
  • ALLSTAR- Tournament (Bring on the Heat) and registration fees

    • SPONSORSHIP– You can provide the league with a tax deductible financial donation or if you know of a business that can provide a financial sponsorship (we provide banners for those who sponsor the league that are posted on the fields for all to see. For more information on how you can sponsor our league contact our Sponsorship/Awards chairperson: Thelma Avilez at avilez4@sbcglobal.net

DONATE AND VOLUNTEER - You can donate equipment or any services you can give to the league. VOLUNTEER – We need your help especially in the Snack Bar. We ask each family to work at least one shift during the season. You can contact any board member for more information, or contact the President Jay Strandberg at JAY.R.STRANDBERG@saic.com

RESPECT EQUIPMENT AND FIELDS – Keeping the field up and functional can be expensive, make sure that you keep that in mind as you use the fields. Also, remember to always clean up after yourselves by picking up your trash.

Complaint? Comment? Recommendation????

Do you have an idea of how to improve the league? Or how about how things are going today? Or is there something bothering you that you think needs attention. Please follow these simple rules:

1. If making suggestions or comments please email them to the President or one of the Vice Presidents. Their emails are listed on the Board members page. We will try to respond after discussing at the board meeting.

2. If making a complaint or expressing concerns please email them to the President or the First Vice President. If you desire a response please provide a valid emial address and/or phone number. Anonymous complaints unfortunately are very hard to address so as much information as possible is appreciated so we can investigate the issue and follow up with you if necessary.

3. Last, all members of the league are welcome to attend a board meeting to address these above. Again please contact the President or one of the Vice Presidents so they can ensure you are added to the agenda.
