End of Season Picnic!
Mark your calendars for the Santee ASA End of Season Picnic scheduled for May 6th at 12:00 p.m. at the fields!
Wristbands will be offered for sale at the Snack Bar starting on April 16th!
Costs for each wristband is $3 each. Wearing your wristband at the End of Season Picnic will entitle you to one lunch, plus admission to the various rides at the picnic!
Players, keep selling your raffle tickets! Remember: the team which sells the most raffle tickets will win a team pizza party! The many prizes will be raffled off at the End of Season Picnic, and the proceeds will be split between Santee ASA and the March of Dimes! ...Additional info will be provided on the prizes offered in the weeks to come!

Every year, the Padres sponsor a Softball Day and allow ASA teams from around the county to parade around Petco Park before the Padres game!
This year the game date is Saturday, Apri 21st at 5:35 p.m., the Padres vs. the Phillies.
Tickets are on sale now at the reduced price of $15 each (regulalry $18). In order to be seated together, each team will turn in the money from all their players together.

Thank you to Mitch Seime, the ladies of Rip City and the City College Softball Team for putting on another fantastic clinic on February 5th! The players learned effective ways to throw, catch, bunt, hit, run through first base, slide, pitch, etc., etc., etc.! What a fun day! ...and us parents even got home in time to watch the Super Bowl!

SoCal ASA Coaching School
Southern California ASA is offering coaching clinics in the coming weeks! Santee ASA has reserved 16 seats in the 19 February class. Contact Jay or Mitch if you are interested.
Cost is $25 per coach (or $30 for on-site registration), which includes lunch.
Should you wish to become ACE certified, cost is $20 and the certification will occur at the clinic site from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
San Diego's clinic will be held:
- February 19th, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petco Park, 100 Park Blvd., San Diego, 92101.

Santee ASA and Rip City Softball have reunited again for the 3rd Annual Softball Clinic!
Rip City will be leading a skills loaded day preparing players of all ages and skill levels. The clinic will be on our home fields at Town Center Community Park.

Evaluations Complete!
Thank you all for helping our evaluations conclude smoothly! Saturday's rain tried its best to throw a monkey wrench in our scheduling. Santee ASA appreciates our awesome softball community's cooperation in completing two days worth of evals in a single day!
Teams for the various divisions will be formed later this week, and the managers will be contacting their players' families likely by this coming weekend.
Team practices will begin next week, and Opening Day is Saturday, February 18th.
Thank you for being part of the Santee ASA family...and we look forward to watching our girls play ball!

SDSU Aztecs vs. the National Pro Fastpitch All Star Team!
Check out the Aztecs as they battle the National Pro Fastpitch All Star Team! See the below info from SDSU Assistant Softball Coach, Mia Longfellow:
The SDSU Softball Team will be taking on the National Pro Fastpitch All Star Team on November 4th at 6pm at the Softball Complex. Tickets are $5 per person.
The NPF team of All-Stars is a combination of players from all four of the NPF's league participants - Akron Racers, Chicago Bandits, NPF Diamonds and USSSA Florida Pride. Players participating on the 2011 NPF Back to School Tour are still being determined.
This is going to be a very fun event for the players and fans. Great talent will be coming to San Diego. We hope to see you there!

Scoreboards Are In Use!
Santee ASA is proud to announce that it has completed installation of the Electronic Scoreboards at all three fields, and such are now in use by our teams!
Instructions for Use:
Home teams, please send your scorekeeper to the Snack Bar before each game to sign for the remote unique to your field. The remotes must be signed out by each Home scorekeeper at the Snack Bar, then turned back in at the Snack Bar for the next game's Home scorekeeper to check out.
Team managers and scorekeepers will oversee the use of the remotes, and such must be used by persons 18 years old or older.
