CELEBRATING OVER 10 YEARS OF VOLLEYBALL INSTRUCTION!

We will have an all club meeting from upstairs at SCHS...

Monday November 23rd from 6-8 pm. We will have an ongoing registration information night incl: letter of committment signing, details about club, uniform sizing and numbers and any questions you have about the season. We will also have invoices ready so we can get the ball rolling.

Great work to all the players we understand it's difficult to make decisions and a great deal has to do with where you're friends are or where you feel is most appropriate for your needs. We definitely appreciate your loyalty and we will do what we can to make sure your season is the best volleyball season possible! Love that you've chosen Santa Cruz Volleyball Club!!!

**All players should be receiving, via email, a letter that states:

*Congratulations you've earned a position on an SCVBC Team, or
*Sorry the teams are full and there's a chance, through call back, that you may have an opportunity to participate with SCVBC, or
*Sorry the teams are full, Good Luck with your season and please try again for SCVBC next year.
 
Through many years of tryouts, we know that there's a great deal of shuffling throughout all of the clubs and we know from experience that you should never rely on one club for tryouts because many things can happen and you could be without a team, make sure you tryout at different places so you have security knowing that you may have options rather than crossing your fingers for one.

We are about to begin our new club season....

We are receiving an overwhelming response to our new MAVERICKS program. It's incredible and it's going to be so much fun, all the coaches are so excited to introduce volleyball to our younger enthusiasts!! Remember this is a NO TRYOUT forum, we want ALL players to be able to comfortably participate and enjoy the season without any pressure.Our first date for registration is NOVEMBER 29TH 10am-1pm at Santa Cruz High Gym, this will include NCVA membership, a parent meeting regarding the season and our first clinic for MAVERICKS.

The earlier you register the more clinics you will be able to participate in before the season starts, January-May, and with early registration there will be 3 clinics available the first 3 Sundays in December!



We know there are plenty of clubs out there to choose from, we only hope you research the club, check its experience, make sure there are reputable coaches that have had experience coaching, and make decision based on how much do you want to get out of your volleyball experience. Santa Cruz has been working hard every year to make sure all these needs are met. We don't solicite ourselves as diligently as others we want you to make a decision without pressure and because you know that Santa Cruz has a great deal to offer. 

We plan on having a team for every age group and each team will have 3 special tourneys one in Reno (if younger teams are not interested than there will be an additional tourney in lieu of Reno); this is a fun and wonderful opportunity for young players to experience and each year we have a blast with our teams and the club. The 17s/18s will have 3 tourneys that are set up for exposure to college recruits, it's getting out there and making sure you all have opportunities that you may not otherwise receive if you just play area alone. Recruits seek individuals that will fit there program and will look at a great deal of teams, not just the elite groups, but the ones with heart and determination, so if this is the route you're looking for we will be able to make sure you're individual skills are prepared and you're ready when you compete. Each team will have conditioning as well as skill oriented practices. We make sure you receive at least 4 hours a week or more of practice time. 

We are having a new program for younger players that might not be ready for the entire tournament schedule. The Mavericks will be a group of 10, 12, 13 & 14 year olds (or 4th through 8th grade or freshmen 14 and under) that will receive 2 days of practice, clinics, camps, and will have opportunities throughout the 5 month season to participate in a league tournament. There are no tryouts every player is accepted at the fraction of the cost: $300(includes first month) for registration and $100/mo for 4 months. Each player will receive practice t's, a volleyball, registration in AAU/NCVA, quality coaching, and an opportunity to play in tournaments throughout the season January thru May. OUR FIRST DAY FOR REGISTRATION IS NOVEMBER 29TH 10-1PM AT SANTA CRUZ HIGH. REGISTRATION WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE SEASON, BUT THE EARLIER YOU REGISTER THE MORE CLINICS YOU'LL BE ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF!!!
