San Jac Baseball: A History of Excellence
The San Jacinto College Gator baseball program, the nation's winningest junior college program, owns a rich winning tradition with a JUCO record five NJCAA national championships, six NJCAA runner-up national titles, and three NJCAA semi-finalist finishes.

Known nationally for its ability to develop players, San Jac annually places players on high profile four-year college rosters such as Rice University, Louisiana State University, the University of Texas, Texas A&M University, and the University of Houston. Moreover, San Jac is also known for its ability to develop players who play professionally.

Alumni of San Jac baseball include seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, Cy Young Award runner-up Andy Pettitte, Tampa Bay Devil Rays General Manager Chuck LaMar, and numerous other Major League Baseball players including: Mike Gonzalez, Jesse Crain, Ryan Jorgensen, Rich Robertson, Chance Sanford, Blaine Beatty, and Jessie Hollins.

San Jac is also known for having a passionate, loyal fan-base. The most notable fan is probably baseball legend and San Jac alumnus Roger Clemens.

"Roger has always been very supportive of our program," San Jacinto College North head coach Tom Arrington. "Now that he is closer to home, he has offered to do anything he can to help out. (He) is one of the greats of the game. We are fortunate to have him on our side."
