Welcome to the Sandston Youth Association. We provide community baseball and softball programs in eastern Henrico County through our current charter with the Babe Ruth League, Inc. Our baseball programs are for ages 4 to 12 and softball programs are for ages 4 to 18.
Spring 2012 Baseball and Softball
Due to the weather today, Saturday Feb. 11th, Try-Outs have been postponed. The make up dates for tryouts held at J.B. Finley are:
Rookie - Thursday Feb. 16th at 6pm
Minors - Saturday Feb. 18th at 11 am
Majors - Saturday Feb. 18th at 1pm
Additionally, the drafts will be postponed from Sunday, Feb. 12th to Sunday, Feb. 19th at the same location (Sandston Rec.) and times which are:
T-Ball at 1PM, Rookie at 2PM, Minor at 3PM and Major at 4PM
Late Registration will also be extended through next Saturday February 18th. Players can be registered at the Try-Out dates and times listed above. The $10 late fee will be waived for registrations made before Saturday, February 18th.
Registration Fees will be $60.00 for the first player $10.00 off each additional player(s)
New Player’s Birth Certificate must be presented at time of registration
All registrations after February 9th will include a $10 late fee.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS:) Please call a board member or e-mail if you are interested in volunteering as a manager, coach, or with a board member on a committee. It is rewarding to work with our Sandston children. **Don't forget grandparents- we would love their help too!

We welcome kids from many counties and areas. Please check with us if you'd like to play Sandston ball. It will be a family fun experience.

For field closing information, Henrico County updates their information at 3:00 each day; the number is 501-5132. Airbase fields are determined by Team Manager or Board Member after checking the status of the fields.
