2010 Tryout info:
Two day tryout for the U12/U13/U14's. Tryout Fee is $15 (non refundable)
One day tryout for the U15's, U16's, U17's U18's Tryout Fee is $10 (non refundable)
November 14th (Stidwell Gym)
U12's- 2:00pm to 3:30pm
U13's/U14's- 4:30pm to 6:00pm
November 15th (Sandpoint Middle School Gym)
U12's- 12:00pm to 1:30pm
U13's/U14's- 2:00pm to 3:30pm
U15's, U16's, U17' s, U18's- 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Estimated Fees will be posted before tryouts.

Season begins in January. Specific schedules will not be posted until December -after the Region hosts the tournament sign-up.
Board Position Open: Looking for a board member with a background in coaching volleyball and/or administrative experience in youth sports.
Email letter with: 1) Experience 2) Why you are interested in serving on the SVBC board 3) What you could bring to the club. Deadline is November 10th.
At the October SVBC board meeting the following decisions were made:
1) Teams in age groups will be A. and B. As always, coaches will determine team size and rosters. Teams will not be determined in advance of tryouts. Coaches will not guarantee team placement until after tryouts.
2) Players may move up in age group, if requested by a coach.
3) SVBC will be a feeder club for SHS. In the U14, U16, and U18 age groups, every effort will be made to place Sandpoint players first. Players must be competitive within their own age group. Players must also be in "good standing" with the club. If participant numbers permit, a U18B team (formally U17) will be created. This team will be comprised of "high level" SHS players. If there are a number of graduating seniors wishing to continue with a final club season, a team will be created and this team will be open to outside U18 players, in an effort to provide them a competitive team. This will be the only exception to the "Sandpoint" focus. Coaches will select players. It will be the job of the director to make sure our club philosophy is followed by the coaches.
