NEW OPERATION HEAD COACH
Greg Posein: Played at El Dorado High School in Placentia, California ( Nevin, Tomko, Boone, Petry ) and was the heir apparent to catch at Cal State Fullerton before an arm injury changed his course. Current head coach for Rip Baseball Club in North San Diego County.
‘Rising Stars’ Coached by Coach Posein:
Shane Peterson— St Louis Cardinals, Long Beach State, Cape Cod All Star 3rd Team All American.
Trevor Cahill — Oakland A’s, Olympic Team USA.
Mike Leake — Cincinnati Reds, ASU, All American of the Year, Pac 10 Pitcher of the Year.
Eric Castro—Houston Astros, SDSU, U of A.
Gavin Brooks—New York Yankees, 3 Year Pitcher for UCLA.
Brian Kolb—Wheaton College, 1st Team ABCA All American, CCIW Player of the Year.
Tony Wolters—USA Baseball, AFLAC High School All American, USD.
Kevin Coture—3 Year Pitcher for USC, Chatham A’s.
Mitch Einerstein—Houston Astros, Carolina League MVP.

WOW! WHAT A GREAT JOB BY OUR 15 AND 16'S. THEY CAME OUT OF POOL AS THE # 1 SEED THIS LAST WEEK.
THEY PLAYED 7 GAMES IN 4 DAYS AND USED WOOD BATS IN A TOURNEY WHERE EVERYBODY ELSE WAS USING ALUMINUM. WITH GREAT PITCHING THAT ALLOWED THE FEWEST RUNS IN THE TOURNEY AND TIMELY HITS. THE TEAM RALLIED IN THE SUMMER HEAT AND WERE A LOT FUN TO WATCH. THIS WAS NEW OPERATION HEAD COACH GREG POSEIN, 1ST TOURNEY AND IT WAS A GREAT START BUT IT WILL NOT GET ANY EASIER AFTER THIS. NOW THEY ARE GOING TO GET READY TO GO TO GEORGIA FOR THE 15 UNDER NATIONAL WOOD BAT CHAMPIONSHIP. GOOD LUCK BOYS! THANKS TO ALL OF THE PARENTS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND I WILL SEE YOU ON THE FIELD.

AAU 13U NATIONAL QUALIFIER 2009
WELL THE 13 UNDER TEAM DID IT, THEY CAME TO THIS TOURNEY WITH A GOAL AND THEY ACHIEVED IT: THEY MADE IT TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! AGAINST ALL ODDS THEY WERE ABLE TO PLAY SOME OF THE BEST 13 UNDER TEAMS IN THE AREA AND WERE ABLE TO DO IT WITH ONLY 9 KIDS. AFTER WINNING THREE IN A ROW THEY PLAYED THE POWER HOUSE "TEAM ANDERSON" IN THE FINAL GAME AND CAME UP A LITTLE SHORT BUT WERE 1ST RUNNER UP. GREAT JOB BOYS! WELL DONE! WAY TO REPRESENT THE MIGHTY STORM! THANKS TO ALL THE PARENTS THAT WERE INVOLVED AND THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT. AND TO THE COACHING STAFF, WELL DONE! YOU ALL SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELVES

SAN DIEGO STORM 16 UNDER CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL THEY DID IT AGAIN 16UNDER STEAM ROLLED AT THE TOYS FOR TOTS TOURNEY THIS LAST WEEKEND 12/13/14/2008 WOW WHAT A PERFORMANCE WITH 43 RUNS IN 4 GAMES AND ONLY GAVE UP 4 TOTAL THAT IN ITS SELF IS AMAZING WITH A GREAT DEFENSE BEHIND THESE PITCHERS THEY HAD NO ISSUES.
GREAT JOB BOYS THANKS TO THE PARENTS FOR THERE HELP THIS WEEKEND I WAS UNDER THE WEATHER AND IT WAS NICE TO SEE
