Welcome back, Aztecs!  Nice to have everyone back together on the dirt after spring breaks and DC trips.   Pitching was on, bats were hacking and defense was great...  Keep up the hard work!

Congratulations San Diego Aztecs for coming in 2nd place out of 44 teams at the St. Paddy's Day Blast in Las Vegas.  Bats were cracking, pitching was on fire and defense was stellar.  Keep up the hard work!

1/17/11  Welcome Back Aztecs!

Aztecs want to give a big welcome to Zoraya to the Aztec family.   Aztecs 97 kicked off there 2011 season in Hemet this past Sunday.  They played 3 games and didn't miss a beat by winning all 3 games. Bats were alive, Defense was its stingy self and pitching was awsome. Thanks Lights Out for putting together a great friendly.

The San Diego Aztec 97's are bringing their successfull fall season to a close.  The Aztec coaches are very excited about the team they put together.  We are looking for one more team mate to complete this amazing roster for the spring, where are main focus  will be competing in Premiere Nationals and or ASA Nationals. We are looking for a player that can play multiple positions and must be a good hitter. San Diego Aztecs 97 had a successfull weekend at the TCS Turkey Bash Tourney in Palmdale. 6 games in 2 days in cold windy weather.  Offense played well with clutch hits and several runs scored.  Defense was at its norm with great pitching and very stingy with runs.  Congrats to California Breeze 96 for taking first place.

The Aztecs took last week off ( much deserved break).  This past weekend they headed up north for a 3 game friendly.  Even with  several Aztec girls out sick, the girls came together and found a way to win all 3 games!!   Thanks Maddy for coming out and helping the Aztecs.   Jordi,  The team wishes you a speedy recovery and get well soon!

 Next weekend, off to Palmdale for a tournament.  Good luck Aztecs!

Congratulations  to the San Diego Aztecs for finishing first place out of 35 teams in the Monstermash  tourny!  Great Job girls, your hard work and team dedication is really paying off.

Aztecs 97 Had another successful 3 Game Friendly this past Sunday.   Girls were excited to wear there pink in honor of breast cancer awarness.  Next weekend is the Aztecs first tourny (Monster Mash) Go Aztecs!
