NATE BOMAN - Hometown Allied Gardens, San Diego, Ca. Left handed pitcher, AGLL and Patriot league Alumni, All CIF selection at Patrick Henry (2003), Played 3 years at USD (2003-2006), USD all-time leader in K's per 9 innings, Team USA invitee summer 2005, 9th round DRAFT choice by the Los Angeles Angels Sept 2006. Currently coaching the 9U, 12U & 13U Scripps Ranch Renegades travel ball teams. Nate has given private lessons for 5+ years.

MIKE PIERATT - Hometown San Carlos, San Diego, Ca. Played baseball at SDSU in the 70’s. Has more than 20 years of coaching experience. Patrick Henry High School pitching coach, 10 years. Mike is active in the San Diego community and enjoys working with youth ball players

Clinic Activities - Each session will begin with an introduction, stretching, and warm-up. Players will work in small groups and rotate through stations. The stations include: Infield, Outfield, Hitting, Pitching and Base Running. Groups will be split up into age groups and there will be instruction and competitive activities within each station. Each age group will have a different level of instruction and all drills will be fun and informative. Purpose: To raise awareness for every Coach and Manager on how to prevent and treat injuries. The topics that will be discussed are simple first aid, recovering and returning to action from an injury, prevention of injuries and Little League Safety Rules.

Come on out and get the scoop on all the rules you really need to know. Find out about all the new rule changes for this season. Managers, coaches, umpires, board members, and parents are welcome. Please bring a 2009 or 2010 Little League rule book with you. 2010 Little League rule books will be available for purchase. These are 2 different clinics, the same material will not be covered each night. Hosted by D33 umpire staff. This free clinic is open to umpires from all leagues in District 33. If you are  an experienced umpire come shake off the rust from a long winter. If you are a rookie umpire come learn some basics which will make umpiring more enjoyable. If you are a junior umpire you are welcome to attend. Both plate and base mechanics will be covered. There will be instruction in two-man umpire mechanics. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The clinic will be held at Tierrasanta Rec Center, next to DePortola Middle School located at 11220 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., San Diego CA 92124.
