Registration
Recreation Registration fee for the 2007 Fall/2008 Spring Season is:
$150 for 1st child, $140 for siblings.


EDP Registration CLOSED. Deposit fee for the 2007 Fall/2008 Spring Season is $125 due at registration with $100 additional due once player is rostered ~6/25 ($225 total + uniform cost).

Travel Registration CLOSED. deposit fee for the 2007 Fall/2008 Spring Season is $125 due at registration with $175 additional due once player is rostered ~6/25 ($300 total + uniform cost).

Mail a completed registration form (below), a check made payable to "SYSA", a copy of child(ren)'s Birth Certificate(s) (if new players) and note whether you can volunteer to:

Recreation age groups are 4yrs before August 1st to 15yrs after July 31st of the Fall season (If registering for the Spring season, you use last year's Fall season date as cutoff date).

Initial Travel Registration deposit fee (equal to the Recreation fee), is due at time of registration for participation in the Competitive (Travel) Division. All fees are due prior to the start of the season. Total cost for each Travel player is typically $300 plus $60 uniform and includes some Pro Coach sessions and 2 tournaments.

By July 1st, all players that attended Travel Tryouts will be informed of their status (on Travel team or not) and players will make decision to transfer to Recreation league or to not participate in SYSA (Reg check/Reg form transfered to Recreation league or Reg check returned to player).

Hardship Scholarships are available. Salem Youth Soccer allocates funds yearly towards players whose families do not have the financial ability to pay their children's registration fees. These families will be requested to volunteer in order to qualify for this hardship. We also ask that these families carefully consider their inability to pay these fees as the monies allocated are limited and should go to the neediest of children. Should the parents find themselves in a better financial situation in the future, Salem Youth Soccer would appreciate a donation to help other needy families. $25 processing fee if a child drops out after July 1st of the Fall season.

Travel Registration Refund Policy
Once a player has verbally ACCEPTED a position on a competitive team and the team fees are set, players will be responsible for ALL team fees and NO REFUNDS will be given.
Players will be responsible for all outstanding fees and may be considered ineligible for future play for failure to pay completely and timely all monies owed.

Refunds of registration fees will be given for players who are not placed on a Competitive Division team and elect not to participate in the Recreation division.
