Sailfish Striders: Halloween Half Marathon


Mr. Bryan Graham, MPT, owner of Oceanside Physical Therapy, Inc. in Stuart, FL, is once again the Naming sponsor for this year's HHM (Bryan has been the race Naming sponsor for the past two years).  Bryan, a runner, is a great supporter of runners and races on the Treasure Coast.  Oceanside Physical Therapy, Inc. is an outpatient physical therapy office where Bryan has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist for over 15 years specializing in the treatment of orthopedic and sports related injuries. Bryan handles cases ranging from the professional and college level athletes to weekend warriors.  Brian has sponsored past Sailfish Strider's races and we are fortunate to have his continued support for the Halloween Half Marathon.

Race registration is now open for the 2014 Oceanside Physical Therapy Halloween Half Marathon on Sunday, October 26, 2014.   The race is again being co-hosted by the Sailfish Striders and Martin County Parks and Recreation Department.  The race will begin and end at Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach, FL.  Race start time is 6:30 am. 

  • Gender specific technical t-shirts (see the race application at the link below for sizing). Custom finisher medals. Post-race awards ceremony, refreshments and free massages.
  • Race packet pickup at Fleet Feet Stuart on Saturday October 25, 2014 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and on race day at the Frances Langford Pavilion in Indian Riverside Park from 5:00 am to 6:20 am.
  • Cash prizes ($200) for Overall M/F, Masters M/F and Grandmasters M/F winners. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd M/F in each age group.
  • Age Groups: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Race entry fees are as follows:

  • Adult club members (18 yr. and over)*
    • Now to August 15, 2014 => $50
    • August 16 to September 15, 2014 => $60
  • Adult non-club members (18 yr. and over)
    • Now to August 15, 2014=>- $60
    • August 16 to September 15, 2014 => $70
  • All youth (14 to 18 yr.)*
    • Now to September 15, 2014 => $40
  • Everyone - September 16 to October 25, 2014 => $80
All entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.  Registration will be capped at 500 runners.  NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!

There are three ways to register for the race:

  1. Fill out a race application in person at Fleet Feet Stuart
  2. Download the race application HERE and mail it back to Martin County (the mailing address is on the application)
  3. Register online at Martin County's website.

All checks should be made payable to "Martin County Parks and Recreation"

*Note: All Sailfish Striders club members and youth who wish to register at the reduced entry fees MUST fill out a race application either at Fleet Feet Stuart or download the race application and register by mail.

For those registering online, follow these steps: 

  1. Click on the button below and connect to the Martin County website.
  2. Click on Login (upper right corner of the screen) and enter your Login ID and Account PIN. If you do not have an account with Martin County set one up. 
  3. Click on the Register Here tab and select Sports and Athletics > Races from the menu on the left side of the screen.
  4. Click on Show Courses under Summer Race Series and add your race(s) to your shopping cart.
  5. Select your name in the Account Member drop-down box and then click on Go to Checkout to complete your registration.
