A Look in the Eyes of Devan Taylor
Royal Racing Montegnee F C News
European Soccer Academy - Liege, Belgium
Jan 30, 2009
Recently, we sat down with Devan Taylor who is a player at RRFCM from Reno Nevada. From the first few moments of interacting with Devan you can tell he is a very eclectic and interesting person. He is at Montegnee not only to play soccer but also to get a quality education from Heidelberg University. It was a real pleasure to sit down with him and here is what he had to say.
RRFCM: Is it hard to balance a tough school schedule with so much training?
Devan: It ranges really, depending on the day, line up of training, and class, it can be quite simple and yet some days are a bit tiring and hard.
RRFCM: What motivated you to come out here from Reno, Nevada to pursue soccer?
Devan: The next level...
RRFCM: Who is your idol?
Devan: Probably the most under rated player in the football world, Ji-Sung Park, without him, Man. U would be nothing.
RRFCM: What do you think of Liege?
Devan: Liege is culture filled and can offer different opportunities. It has been interesting living here, but it could use a Walmart and like a Burger King or something. Waffles cannot replace poptarts.
RRFCM: Montana Verlage recently voted you as the worst haircut in the club, what do you think about that?
Devan: Envy. Pure jealousy on his behalf. Its funny he would vote me for worst haircut because he's always caressing it and offering to style it for me. I have a word of advice for Montana, stop letting Joey Spivack cut your hair.
