TACKLE FOOTBALL REGISTRATION IS CLOSED...ONLY A FEW SPOTS LEFT AT OUR FLAG LEVEL.....

Registration is closed for our tackle program, however, we do have a few spots that are still available at the flag level:

• Flag (5 & 6 year olds--no weight restrictions)

To begin the process for football registration for your flag player, please send an email to our Athletic Director, Leanne Sanchez at leanne2@cox.net.  In your email, please provide the following information:

• your name and contact phone numbers 
• your child's name
• your child's date of birth AND age as of July 31st
• your city of residence

Tackle players who desire to be placed on our waiting list should send the above information to Leanne Sanchez at leanne2@cox.net.  She will place your son on our waiting list.

2008 Registration Fees:

$200 Flag    

$300, Tackle Football (tackle football fees will increase after May 1st)

$350 Returning Cheerleader   

$450 New Cheerleader needing uniform 

NOTE:  cheer registration fees increase by $25 on the first of each month, so don't wait!  Register today!

If you are a new player, we'll also need you to provide a photocopy of your county birth certificate at the time of registration.  Proof of birthdates are required by the conference and the birth certificates are placed in our team books.

We have scheduled two parent meetings this month for parents of our registered participants.  Information about our program will be covered during this meeting and we'll have a Q & A session at the conclusion of the presentation.  We encourage all of you to attend!

TUESDAY, MAY 20TH at 6PM for parents of:

Jr Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr Midget and Midget players/cheerleaders

WHERE:

Oakley Corporate Headquarters, 1 Icon, Foothill Ranch (cross streets are Portola and Glen Ranch Road)

We'll meet in the ampitheater.  When coming in through the main entrance, the ampitheater is located at the far end of the lobby.

We'll begin promptly at 6PM each evening.  We ask that you leave your children at home, as space is limited in the theater.

Division/Ages/Weights:

All ages are as of July 31st, 2008:

Flag:  ages 5 & 6 with no weight restrictions

Jr Mitey Mite:  ages 7 & 8 between 45-90 pounds

Mitey Mite:  ages 7 & 8 between 45-90 pounds AND 9 year olds between 45-70 pounds

Jr Pee Wee:  ages 8, 9, 10 between 60-105 pounds AND 11 year olds between 60-85 pounds

Pee Wee:  ages 9, 10, 11 between 75-120 pounds AND 12 year olds between 75-100 pounds

Jr Midget:  ages 10, 11, 12 between 85-135 pounds AND 13 year olds between 85-115 pounds 

Midget:  ages 11, 12, 13, 14 between 105-160 AND 15 year olds between 105-140 pounds

We are so proud of our cheer program!  Our girls work hard every week cheering on the boys and doing our own competitions.

ALL of our squads made us very proud this year!  To have TWO teams be Nationally ranked is truly an honor and the direct result of the hard work of our girls, along with their coaches and trainers.  If you see our girls out and about in town, sporting their NATIONAL CHAMPION jackets, give them a high five!

WE ARE PROUD OF YOU, SAY WE ARE PROUD OF YOU! 

At SVPW, our goal is to develop well rounded boys and girls who will not only learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the importance of education, team work and sportsmanship.  We pride ourselves on providing the youth of our community with a foundation of sportmanship and fellowship that they can carry with them throughout their lives.

Our association serves the following cities:  Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Portola Hills, Foothill Ranch, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, and Aliso Viejo.  We are proud to have partnered with two local High Schools to provide our teams with the opportunity to play on the turf and in some instances, under the lights!

Our organization is run entirely by volunteers, most of whom have children in our football and cheer programs.  Our teams are known as the BEARS, CHARGERS and WOLVERINES.
