Head Coach: Perry Glantz

Head Coach

Phone: 720.277.8948

Perry has over twenty years experience coaching youth soccer.  He holds a National “C” Coaching License and has spent the past six years coaching at Ponderosa High School.  Perry has coached top club teams in both Colorado and California.  Perry has also coached tournament teams in matches throughout Europe including the Gothia Cup in Sweden.  His inauspicious playing career includes club level soccer in college and various adult leagues over the years.

“I am very excited to be coaching at Castle View High School this season.  We will be fit and aggressive in our play.  We will work hard on improving each player’s skill, ability and general knowledge of the game.  My primary focus will be to insure each student-athlete has a positive experience in high school athletics.  I firmly believe that the lessons of responsibility, teamwork and the value of hard work can be learned in the context of athletic competition.  We will stress these goals in one another within the team.”

Perry is always available to answer any of your questions.

Assistant Varsity Coach Paul Gardner

Paul Gardner

Assistant Coach – Varsity

Phone: 303-408-5901

Paul has been involved in coaching soccer at a number of levels for over twenty years.  He holds a National “C” Coaching License and starts in his third year of coaching in the women’s soccer program at Castle View.  This year he moves from Head JV Coach to Assistant Varsity Coach.  Paul played in high school and at a club level both in college and post college, however, those days are long past and his skills on the pitch show the deterioration of time.  During his coaching career he has served as Tactical Coach for Service High School State Championship Team, Head Coach for two Club State Championship Teams, and as an age group State ODP Head Coach.

“My philosophy is pretty simple: Work Hard, Have Fun, and Play the game properly techincally, tactically, physically, and mentally.  I have found that winning takes care of itself if, as a team, we focus on these principles.  I strongly believe and approach the game stressing what I call the Four R’s: Respect Yourself, Respect Your Team, Respect the Game, and Respect Your Opponent!”
