Ryle Raiders Baseball: vs.

Ryle 7, Campbell County 1

Behind a first inning, 3-run homerun by junior LF Mason Forbes, the Raiders cruised to a 6-1 victory over the Campbell County Camels. Senior shortstop Tyler Lonnemann led off the inning with a walk and senior second baseman Jackson Brennan singled, which set the stage for Forbes' blast. The Raiders continued their scoring in the first, scoring another run off of a two-out double by senior third baseman Dylan Plvan. The Raiders added to their lead in the second inning behind RBI singles by Tyler Lonnemann and Tyler Mason.

Staked to a 6-0 lead, pitcher Josh Bellew took it from there. Bellew went 5 innings, allowing his first run of the year in three starts. On this windy day at Ryle's home field, the Camels could muster only five hits off of the junior Bellew, who also recorded 8 punch outs. Tyler Lonnemann came on to pitch scoreless 6th and 7th innings and wrap up the Raider win.
