On Friday night at Gas City Ryan finished 2nd in his heat race and transferred directly into the A main. Ryan started on the pole for his heat and was passed by Casey Shuman on lap 2 aand rode behind Casey to the finish line.

Ryan lined up in the 8th starting spot for the feature and on the green flag jumped into 4th before a red flag came out causing a complete restart. On the restart Ryan held his position until corner number 2 when a driver drove over his front end causing damage to shocks and the steering rod. Ryan fell back to 20th and then started passing cars with a very evil driving car, but after 10 laps, Ryan just pulled in as the steering kept sticking ending his night in 19th. Ryan is back in action tonight at the Paragon Speedway.

The 2008 season got under way Friday at Gas City and Ryan gased his way to a 7th place finish.

In Ryan's heat race he started outside row 3 and worked his way into 3rd place, but with 3 laps to go coming out of turn four the car did a wheel stand and he dropped back to 7th. Ryan battled back and finished 5th,one spot out of the transfer.

In the B main Ryan started outside of row 1 and ran pretty well, as he was getting adjusted to the new horespower bought over the winter, and finished 4th and transferred into the A main.

Ryan started 19th in the A and started to pick off cars as soon as the green flag flew. Ryan was up to 11th when the first red flag came out and climb to 9th as another red came out. With 6 laps to go Ryan remained ninth but picked off two more before the checkered flag and picked up a 7th place finish in the season opener.
