In round 1, game 1 action we saw some good games.  The winners of game 1 will look to close it out in game 2 and the losing team will look to force a game 3.  

 In the North, the #1 seed Elizabeth Orioles defeated the defending Champs 10-6, in the other game the # 3 seed Cardinals blasted the #2 seed Lumberjacks 10-2.

In the South Division we saw two pitchers duels.  The #1 seed Clippers edged the Yankees 1-0, as Chris Bartz and Chris Bott locked in a pitchers duel.  The only run was scored on a suicide squeeze. 

In the other south game the #3 seed Mavericks took down the Giants 6-2.  This game also was a pitchers duel until late in the game. 

The #4 seed Reds outslugged the Brewers, the Dodgers took down the Bombers.  The Senators scored 1 run and it was enough to edge the Astros 1-0.   The Pitbulls bit the Pirates 6-2, however Michael Vick was nowhere to be seen.
