RVNABA ANNOUNCES DEAL WITH STAT DEPOT!
All RVNABA teams are encouraged to purchase a StatDepot team website for its superior web hosting and statistics package. StatDepot is the official online host and statistics provider of the National Adult Baseball Association and offers a discounted price to NABA teams. Some of the features of a StatDepot website include: Ability to post rosters, news stories, sponsors, batting stats, pitching stats, fielding stats and more.
Since StatDepot has announced an official partnership with the National Adult Baseball Association they will also be rolling out nation-wide statistical leaders in May. If your team participates in the stats program you will see how your stats compare to players in Denver, Oklahoma, Utah, Colorado Springs, Southern NJ, Philadelphia and more!
For more information on StatDepot email them at info@statdepot.com. Some of the participating teams in our league are: Morris Brewers (http://naba.statdepot.com/rvnaba/brewers), Sayreville Giants (http://naba.statdepot.com/RVNABA/SayGiants), Long Hill Lumberjacks (http://naba.statdepot.com/RVNABA/Lumberjacks) Middlesex Bears and the NJ Clippers.
You also might want to check out some other leagues across the country. Denver NABA (http://www.denvernaba.com) Tri State NABA (http://www.tristatenaba.com) Southern Colorado NABA http://www.scnaba.com.
This is unlike the current site where you can just enter your stats and see them just as they are.
With the new site they are listed in order.  So you will see who is leading your team; and unlike the current site the new site allows you to see who is leading the league in each category all with just one click.
Go to www.statdepot.com for more info

Team Profiles....

The Astros

Founded: 2008

A League, East

Founded: 2002

Previous Name(s): Lobsters

Current Manager: Larry Vindman 2002-present

Home Field: Thomas Edison Field, Edison, NJ

Since amassing 4 wins in their first two seasons, the Astros have been to the post season three of the last four years. From fourth place, they knocked off the first place Senators in the first round each of the last two years. In 2006, they went to the League Championship series, where they won Game One 1-0 at FirstEnergy Park - the sole run scoring on Vlad Vindman's rbi grounder. They dropped game two before taking an eight run lead in game three. Unfortunately, the Orioles erased that lead and took the series 2-1.

Last year the 'Stros missed a return to the Championship, losing game three of the East divison final in the bottom of the ninth to the Dodgers. They look to get back there in 2008.
