All,
Recently we have had a few incidents at the fields during a few games that need to be addressed. While the games are competitive, we need to remember that we all have agree to the Code of Conduct for parents, players, and coaches. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be handled by the Board of Directors in a timely manner.
All of the Board members cannot be present for each game, but when an incident arises, please find the Officer on Duty (OD) and alert them of the situation. To ensure that all parties invovled have their fair say, please issue a brief statement of the incident via email (info@rvll.org) or phone call to Jason Jones (609-284-6902) or Becky Browning (609-351-7399). Please keep in mind that we are here to have fun and allow the kids to have fun. Competition is healthy for everyone, but when arguments and problems arise, we still need to handle them in a respectful manner.
Below, as a refresher, are the 8 rules from our code of conduct that all parents and coaches have agreed to:
1. I will not engage in, nor will I encourage my child to engage in, unsportsmanlike conduct with any coach, parent, player, participant, official, umpire or any other atte ndee.
2. I will not engage in, nor will I encourage my child to engage in, any behavior which would endanger the health, safety or well - being of any coach, parent, player, participant, official, umpire or any other attendee.
3. I will not use drugs or alcohol wh ile at a youth sports event and will not attend, coach or participate in a youth sports event while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
4. I will not permit my child to use drugs or alcohol at a youth sports event and will not permit my child to attend o r participate in a youth sports event while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
5. I will not engage in the use of profanity while attending, coaching or participating in a youth sports event, nor will I encourage my child to engage in the use of profani ty while attending or participating in a youth sports event.
6. I will treat, as well as encourage my child to treat, any coach, parent, player, participant, official or other attendee with respect regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation or ability.
7. I will not engage in, nor will I encourage my child to engage in, verbal or physical threats or abuse aimed at any coach, parent, participant, official, umpire or any other attendee.
8. I will not initiate, nor will I encourage my child to initiate, a fight or scuffle with any coach, parent, player, participant, official, umpire or any other attendee.

We do not have every games information right now, but we are trying to catch up with the coaches to fill in the missing information. Pitch Counts have its own page, just click on the tab on the left of the main screen.
