Rockville Centre Little League: Challenger Division

The Challenger Division was established as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school to enjoy the game of baseball.

Teams are set up according to abilities, rather than age, and can include as many as 15-20 players. Challenger games can be played as t-ball games, coach pitch, player pitch or a combination of the three. Each player will be assigned a buddy to enhance the experience.

For all those who received a letter of invitation, registration for both players and buddies is scheduled for Tuesday February 28th between 7-9 at the RVC Rec Center.

We are having a second Challenger registration on Thursday March 15th from 6-7 at MacArthur Park. We are also having a mandatory buddy/volunteer training session immediately following at 7pm. Anyone interested in being a buddy/volunteer must be a Rockville Centre resident and a minimum of 10 years old.
