RGSL Web Site Coach Instructions

All correspondence concerning the web site content, corrections, problems, and suggestions should be sent to the

current web site administrator RuralGirlsSoftball@gmail.com. The following web site addresses will each access the

RGSL web site. You may also reach the site using “Links to other good sites” on www.newburghgirlssoftball.com

Within one week after scheduling, all of the RGSL games should be posted on the RGSL web site. Please review the master game numbers, dates, and times of your games.

Report any corrections via email within eight days of scheduling, so that umpires can be scheduled for the posted dates and times. A user id is not needed to verify the game dates and times.

Check your game schedule and enter your scores! You must report your game scores via the web site. These records will be used to determine tournament brackets. If you have problems entering the score, please report the problem to RGSL.Records@gmail.com within a few days of the game.

The site has several layers of security allowing some functions and information to be accessed only by

administrators, umpires, coaches, or commissioners. A user ID and password will be assigned to each member of these groups. Each RGSL web site user ID is built from the first letter of the member’s first name, followed by the member’s last name. The password for the user ID is enclosed in ( ) in the subject of an email than includes “RGSL”. If the subject of the email does not contain your password in ( ), please send an email containing your name, organization, age group, type of play, phone number, and email address to the web site administrator. The password will be emailed back to you.

Email sent from the web site or web site administrator will have a sender of

d.dominohosting.biz/DDN@dominodeveloper.net or the subject will contain “RGSL”.

- If you do not have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software, you will be prompted to download and install it.

To log in with the assigned user ID and password-

- Click on the Log In link.

- Enter your user ID and password.

- The user id and password should be entered using lowercase letters.

- For example, John Smith’s user id would be: jsmith

To access the team profile by coaches name with roster and game schedule-

- Log in with the assigned user ID and password

- Click on the Coaches link

- Click on the Coaches By Last Name link

- Page/scroll/roll down until you find the coach.

- Click on the team number next to the name of the coach.

- The team profile will be displayed

- Page/scroll/roll down to view roster and game schedule for the team.
