Tuesdays!



Free Range = you are on your own on 4/18.  Most the runners plan to meet up though Bobbi is in Boston.  No set plan but bring your show and tell (bling or swag) & race recaps to share with the others.

4/25 = Meet downtown DM at the Grand Blue Mile!  The GBM is for everyone.  Kids, adults, slow, fast, don't matter if you watch or run but don't miss the GBM.  More infor here.   $20 for adults.  $5 for kids.  http://www.grandbluemile.com/

Safety First



There are some simple things you can do to stay safe.

 1. ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS - 

Stay alert after each run until you've reached an area where you're safe from potential harm. Avoid looking at your splits or catching up on your texts and emails until you are in a safe spot. 


2. DON'T BE PREDICTABLE -

Vary your training schedule and don't run the same route every single day at the same time. Predators can be watching and will know exactly where you are and when to attack. 

3. LET SOMEONE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING - 

Designate at least one person to tell what you're doing when you leave for your workout. It takes just a few seconds to send a text or leave a note to tell your safety person what, where and when you'll be training. 

4. POWER IN NUMBERS - 

Run with us on Mondays, there is strength in numbers. Having good training partners will not only help you enjoy your running experience but will keep you safer on the run.


5. GO WITH YOUR GUT - 

When in doubt and you don't feel comfortable running a certain trail or road by yourself then don't. All of us have gut feelings that something just doesn't seem right. If that's the case be smart and choose another route that's populated and where you feel safer.

Welcome! 

 I set-up most of the content on this website in one night.  I know it isn't beautiful but it seems to be pretty accommodating especially since it was FREE. 

Hope you can join us on Tuesday nights at 6pm at the McVay Trailhead.    Everyone is welcome, walkers, joggers, and runners.
