Player Inquiries

The Rockets are always interested in adding a competitive, dedicated player to our soccer family. If interested in joining a Rockets training session contact Head Coach Maura Cirilli or Asst. Coach Greg Mitchell.

We think you will find the Rockets training sessions executed by Coach Maura Cirilli fun and focused on long term skill development. Maura is a paid full time coach and trainer. She brings her Division 1 playing experience and competitive spirit to the pitch in each training session and game. We are a diverse team with girls from 7 area elementary schools that all have a passion to play soccer at a high level. We also have many parent volunteers that coordinate team events to get this group of girls to gel as teammates in order to play well together.

Although 2009-2010 tryouts are complete the Rockets are specifically looking to add 1 or 2 players to the roster.

2008 -2009 Summary
The Rocket were off to a slow start in the summer of 2008, with a 1-2 result at West Chester Summer Classics.  Injuries and vacations and not playing a second tournament did not have the players ready for the Fall Season and lead to a poor Fall season result.   The team rebound well at the Western Lehigh Tournament as Champs in the premier division which included Amity, Haverford, Upper Makefield, Neshamity and Montgomery.  The team had fun in the winter doing weekly training and competing in both indoor state cups and a futsol league.   Being in a tough bracket for the EPYSA State Cup,  the team finished 1-2 with losses to HMMS and FC Revs.   The team continued to training and were champs again at the Shoot for the Cure tournament in May, beating divisional foe Westmont Cheetahs.   The team finish the season as finalist in the SCCSA Spring into Summer. In outdoor games the Rockets finished with a combined 12 wins, 9 loses and 5 ties.  Great Year Ladies!!

2007 - 2008 Summary

The Rockets just completed their Fall League Season with a .500 record of 3-3-3, in PAGS Division 1 Man U. If you include our 3 wins on Columbus Weekend the team was 6-3-3 with 13 goals for and 8 against. The team finished the season with 3 straight shut outs which we hope to carry on into the Hempfield Tournament. We want to thank all the teams in our division for some great competition.

The Rockets competed in the top division of the EPYSA State indoor cup, and had a 3-2 loss to Lighhouse Fire and 4-3 loss to TEYSA Strikers.

The Rockets went undefeated in the regular season of the Far Post Second Session, including a dramatic 4-3 victory over Amity on a last second shot.

The Rockets went 4-2-1 in the ROCK Spring League against some of the best teams in Montgomery and Bucks county. We played in the 11 v 11 division in order to teach several systems of play for next fall.

The Rockets ended their run in the EPYSA State Cup with a loss in the Quarter Finals to a very good Hempfield team (KIXX). We are extremely proud of our team's effort to win our group making it to the Quarter Finals by beating last years finalist the CRUSA Courage. We wish the Hempfield Kixx luck in rest of the tournament.

2008 Fall Summary
Although we did not finish where we would have liked in the Man U premier standings, our overall fall record was a respectable 4-6-3.  Illness and injuries seem to plague the team this fall.  Limiting the number of active players and subs which lead to many late goals.   So although the soccer gods were not with us in the league games they were with us on Columbus Day weekend at Western Lehigh.  The Rockets won the premier division, beating the Neshamity (2nd), Amity (3rd), Upper Makefield (4th), Haverford Heat (5th) and Montgomery (6th).  That was the highlight of the season, but a close second was the Frieght Night, at the Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride.   The Coaches can't wait till next year.
