Hickey Pool Season and Hours
Hickey Pool normally opens on Memorial Day.
Hours of operation are:

Thursday 12:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Friday 12:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Pool Reservations for a Private Party
The department begins reserving the pool on the first working day in May. Pool reservations hours for a private party are 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturdays, 8:00pm to 10:00pm on Mondays through Thursdays, and 7:30pm to 10:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You may book the parties in one hour increments. Reservations may be made at the Hughes Center during business hours. The rental fee is required when booking. No reservations will be made over the phone.
Swimming Lessons
The Pope County Chapter of the American Red Cross will conduct "Learn To Swim" Classes at Hickey Pool. Morning and evening classes are held during the week. For information on swim lessons contact the Red Cross at 479-968-3498.
