In early August, we hauled 9 duffel bags (courtesy of McQueen High) absolutely STUFFED with RSU uniforms, McQueen uniforms & duffels, GBYSL uniforms, misc. uniforms, cleats, balls, toys and books, thanks to all of you.
  While there, the kids were on vacation from classes.  One of the scheduled events was an in-house soccer tournament for the older kids, and the rest of the 450 children watched. The El Salvadoran orphanage is one of 9 Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos orphanages in Mexico, Central, South America & the Carribbean.  Thanks to our previous donations, they hosted their first international tournament last December which included teams from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras & Nicaragua.  Since Guatemala was the winner, they will be hosting the second annual international tournament this December.  The orphanage told us that this latest group of contributions, which included complete team uniforms, will be well utilized this December.  They were VERY appreciative.  THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.  We will continue to collect donations as they come available.
