Normal Football and Cheer information:

Ages 5-6 Flag Football and Cheer
Ages 7-8 80 lb Weight Maximum Tackle Football and Cheer
Ages 9-10 100 lb Weight Maximum Tackle Football and Cheer
Ages 11-12 120 lb Weight Maximum Tackle Football and Cheer
Ages 13-14 150 lb Weight Maximum Tackle Football and Cheer

The Age of your child on July 1 of each year is that child's "Football" age.  For example, if your child is 10 on July 1, 2007 and turns 11 on July 5, 2007, they are still eligible for the 100 lb Weight Maximum Team.

The Weight Maximum levels increase 1 lb per week to help account for natural child growth over the course of the season.

Practice starts August 1 of each year and is held behind Rose Tree Elementary School.  Practices are from 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Thursday from August 1 to Labor Day Weekend.  After Labor Day Weekend, practices are from 6 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Games are Saturday and Sunday depending on your particular weight class and team.  The Rose Tree Colts usually will field Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Rookie teams for each weight class so we ensure that all children are given ample opportunity to play and cheer.
