The Junior Varsity had a great season and we are proud of the efforts made throughout the season. Thank you Tim, Dave and Larry for coaching and keeping book for the team. Thank you to the parents for supporting your daughters.
We will be having structured practices this winter, so the girls need to get their friends who would like to try softball to come to the winter practices.

Tim Auch has decided to take on the Soph.head coaching job.
Thank you Tim!
We are in need of some assistant coaches still. Please contact one of the
staff if you are interested in helping out next fall.

six 7th graders and two sixth graders. Keep checking this website for winter practices and clinics.

Thank you to all of the girls who showed up to our informational meeting this morning at Memorial Middle School. If you were unable to attend, please contact Ed Kieff at 212-5916 or you can email Kristi.
We had a tremendous turnout with fifteen-8th grade players, Eight-7th grade players and five-6th grade players. We really need to stress the need for pitchers and catchers, so if you feel like you want to give it a try, now is your chance. Kristi and I were very impressed with the young ladies we met this morning and are looking forward to working with everyone this winter. As players, you need to make
sure you are asking your friends if they would like to play and let them know about this opportunity.
By the looks of the young players we talked with this morning, Roosevelt Softball will be tough to beat in the future. We are looking forward to meeting the players at Axtell and Edison in the near future. Check the dates and times below.
Thank you again girls!

The players, parents and coaching staff are very happy that Kristi has decided to take this position.

Four Roosevelt softball players were selected to the South Dakota All-State team. They are: Maggie Atkins, Tara Bruns, Teresa Case and Alicia DeHoogh. Congratulations to these young ladies. Senior leadership is vital to our program and these young ladies have proven they are great leaders.
2005 South Dakota High School State Runner- up
Roosevelt High Softball finished off a tremendous 2005 campaign with a second place finish in the State Tournament. After losing game one in the tournament, the Riders went on a 5 game winning streak before running out of steam in the championship game. It was a fun season with a final record of 16-5.
Congratulations to the Roosevelt Rough Riders!
