133 teams from regional and metropolitan areas within in Qld attended the 2 day event which kicked at 7.15am with the opening ceremony on Saturday morning and concluded at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon with the official closing ceremony.

Rockhampton Netball Association entered 6 teams in this NQ State Event. Congratulations to all the players, coaches, umpires & other officials of the Representative teams who played their hearts out and had a wonderful, fun filled weekend.

Management of Rockhampton Netball Association would like to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteers, affiliated clubs and members for making the Feeling Good Carnival 2009 such a wonderful success. The Association received so many compliments over the duration of the event from all the attending teams/associations, supporters, officials and Netball Qld on the running of the carnival and the facilities provided. The success of this State Event would not have been possible without the support of our tireless Carnival Volunteers,  Clubs and Members. A very big thank you, is extended to each and every person that gave up their time to assist and support YOUR Rockhampton Netball Association.

A special mention must be made to the 3 parents, of the Rockhampton Representative Teams - Bronwyn Walker, Jason Walker & Arna Keehn and RNA Umpiring Officials Carol Marechal & Michael Roberts who stayed back on Sunday evening to assist our very tired volunteers in the clean up of the grounds and dismantling of Army tents to ensure our grounds were ready to be used again for fixtures on Monday night. Again a very special thank you to these people.
